Eglinton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Keir Milliken.
Keir joins us with 5 games left of the season, after appearing as a trialist against Easterhouse at the weekend and scoring the 3rd goal of the game.
The experienced forward brings a wealth of experience to the club, having played for Irvine Meadow, Ardrossan Winton Rovers, Largs, Port Glasgow and with great success at Beith and Auchinleck Talbot.
The majority of his 21 trophy haul came at Beith and Talbot, winning multiple North Ayrshire Cups (3), West of Scotland Premier leagues (6), West of Scotland Cups (3) and 2 Scottish Junior Cups.
Milky, as he’s known, also represented Scotland Juniors in 2017 on 3 occasions.
Co-managers Wullie Shearer and Dougie Taylor are more than happy with their new signing, “Keir is an experienced striker having played with a variety of Premier League clubs in his career and winning numerous amounts of trophies during that time.
He is already on the score sheet after heading in his first goal for the club against Easterhouse last weekend and we are looking forward to seeing him add to that tally.
He is a good voice in the changing room and on the pitch and I'm sure will help the younger players within our squad.
A great signing just before the window shuts at the end of the month.”
Welcome to The Jousters, Milky!
