To the "awards don't matter" people: they do. They can give career boosts to great talent who keep film as an art form alive. And the kind of BO that keeps film as an industry alive. Carey Mulligan got her 1st Oscar nod in 2009. Abbie Cornish did not. Compare their CVs now.

1. TMZ needs to be deplatformed. 2. Leave Maya Henry alone. None of this is on her. His tragic death does not make her trauma any less real. 3. Any pap who sells a photo of that 8 year old grieving child and/or his mother, Cheryl Cole, in the next 10 days, should be arrested.

The fact that Jonathan Bailey looked considerably younger and better on the Wicked set whenever he was NOT in Fiyero hair and makeup, should automatically disqualify the film from Oscar consideration in the hair and makeup category.

Rachel McAdams doing virtually no campaigning for her critically acclaimed work this Oscar season but coming out of hiding 4 days AFTER Oscar voting ended just to support the new Regina George, feels like typical Rachel McAdams. As in genuinely nice, humble & effortlessly cool.

Problem is not that the white actors in these on-screen couples are booked and busy. They are talented & charismatic so they SHOULD be in demand. Problem is that the non-white actors in these on-screen couples are ALSO talented & charismatic and deserve to be just as in demand.

So - David Lynch couldn’t get funding - Mike Leigh needs years to get funding for shoestring budget films - Nancy Meyers had to scrap a star-studded romcom in pre-prod because Netflix backed out BUT Addison Rae has a multi-picture deal there ? This industry is a mess.

Marc Platt produced Wicked on Broadway. At one point his son, Jonah, was playing the male lead. Marc Platt produced the Dear Evan Hansen film. His son, Ben, was cast in the lead role he was a decade too old for. Nepotism. Entitlement. Arrogance. Ignorance. Selfishness.

The current Broadway Glinda is publicly siding with Rachel Zegler and her right to condemn child mass murder publicly. Crucial tidbit ? Current Glinda, Allie Trimm’s boss is Marc Platt. Jonah’s father. But she is badass because now he can’t fire her without getting sued.

Just to put it in perspective, those on the left are recent pap pics of Kate Middleton driving a car. That pic on the right is allegedly her sitting in a car today. The difference in image quality is not an accident. It is THAT grainy to cover something: scars or a double ?

Rachel Zegler's film debut was Maria at age 18 Broadway debut was Juliet at 23 West End debut will be Evita at 24. All iconic lead roles. A true testament to her potential considering she arrived in this industry at 17 with no industry connections. And she is still only 23.
