hey friends another and probably one of the last updates! my cancer is terminal, and i have about 6 months to a year left. after costs of my bfs plane ticket money is now going towards me doing fun things with the time i have left!! and more importantly funeral costs

update again hello! i was going to wait until my pet scan and results but i feel bad not saying anything while still getting donos ;; but long story short the biopsy results are in and i have cancer. specifically a rare sarcoma (mpnst), so im not going to spinal rehab anymore

since its disability pride month this has ben on my mind but one thing i think ppl need to realize w horror in gen but especially things like res evil/etc is that many horror tropes are inherently ableist. behind every single monster design is development. and development 1/

needs references. so many mutant designs use REAL humans as refs, real humans that have feelings and thoughts and likes and dislikes. this is especially true for me something i know personally because my condition specifically is used a LOT!

so many ppl with disfiguring neurofibromatosis have been hurt by this and its fucked up because disfiguring conditions arent gross or need tw's. theres a real human under there!!!!!!

idk. i think ppl need to be more mindful. especially those in the horror sphere. creature design has huge ablleist roots so id encourage everyoone to try to be more mindful and try to think abt what you perpetuate. also i tweeted this too soon and forgot to number everthing NVM

HI sorry for radio silence, i just got out of hospital with a uti and pneumonia 🥹 my diagnosis has also been changed to quadriplegia so ive lost my ability to draw. im going to try finish some stuff and see if i can adapt but.. needless to say im going through a grieving period
