    A written statement from the Fringe Society explaining why we're leaving X. Unfortunately the whole statement does not fit in the alt text field - the main points are: - The Fringe Society's values are centred around a strong sense of community, inclusion, collaboration, honesty, transparency and kindness. - In recent months, if not years, X has become a space that increasingly tolerates the spread of negativity and misinformation; we also have concerns around X's terms of service with regards to users' intellectual property and how X uses it. - We have decided to stop using our X accounts: @edfringe, @fringecentral and @edfringesociety. - Weโ€™re looking into how this will impact activities we have previously run via X, eg #TweetTheMedia, and how we can make them work on other platforms. - You can continue to follow news about the Fringe and the work of the Fringe Society on edfringe.com or on other social media platforms (linked in the post above).

    This year we're providing sensory backpacks to help autistic children and adults navigate the Fringe. The backpacks will be available to collect from the Fringe Shop and other locations across the city. Everyone should be able to step #IntoTheUnknown. edfringe.com/learn/news-andโ€ฆ

    We're so sorry to hear the sad news about Sean Lock. Sean was much-loved on the Fringe and he'll be very missed. Here he is in the programme back in '96. Our thoughts are with his friends and family today โ™ฅ๏ธ
