Jaehaerys's body being burned in the the dragonpit was the perfect opportunity to show Helaena & Dreamfyre interact and have Helaena ask her dragon to burn her son's body but I guess the showrunners are not that interested in ever showing us a scene of the two
How do you approach and claim one of the largest dragons of that era at 12 unless you have some bold passion for dragons, the showrunners kinda just forgot about that..
The way they had Helaena spoil what happens to two main characters was very peculiar btw and It wasn't even done in a cryptic open to interpretation manner, what are they doing
I Rewatched the Blood & Cheese section and It does make no sense that there were no guards whatsoever in the entirety of the royals apparments, that's not something that can be explained by Cole being with Alicent because he can't be the only who was supposed to guard all of It
I like the fact that Meleys refused Daemon as a rider because It shows that dragons are indeed selective about their riders beyond just being able to approach them fearlessly and have to like your general vibes
This means that Nettles, one of the most interesting and unique characters in the story, the only female commoner who's also black to claim a dragon is gonna be cut because the showrunners don't know how to make an intersting plot for her and Rhaena at the same time???
