Here's how I manage my work day:
8:50-9:30: Plan my trades
9:30-11:00: Trade
11:00-12:00: Break
12:-1:00: Review morning trades
1:00-5:00:Go golfing or running
5:00: Review afternoon price action
Trading was my only option. There were no back up plans
When I decided to become a trader I went all in. I burnt all my other bridges
You canโt half way house commit to trading. You canโt ease your way into it.
You have to want it more than anything else. All in at all times
I'm a boring trader
- I trade a couple of setups
- I focus on 8 different tickers
- I take 3-5 trades a week
- I only trade the morning rush
- I focus on losing small, not winning big
My formula for success is that I spend more time planning/studying my trading than trading
5. Good trading is patient trading
Sit and wait for your perfect setup. Donโt chase after it. Traders get paid for their decisions not their time.
There will be times to trade and times to sit. You should spend more time sitting than trading
