I’m not retiring on a tropical island somewhere, but I I have so many positive memories from that time in my life. I appreciate the $20 cash. Prior to editing the rosters on the PS2 I created roster booklets on my typewriter while I was in middle school.

I had to use the name DT so that I could distinguish my bills in the mail from all the memory cards people sent in. If it was for Dan, it was probably my Comcast bill.

😂 I appreciate it. Those were crazy times. I’d work on rosters for almost a week straight without sleep, while drinking soda and playing the movie Wedding Crashers on repeat in the background. Those times couldn’t have been healthy, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything!

This was pre-Internet so I had to watch football games on TV and buy magazines to learn each team’s roster. I remember using my dad’s typewriter to create a booklet for all the teams in Bill Walsh’s ‘92. I’d make a mistake typing and have to type the whole page over again.

Glad you enjoyed them. I was a freak about knowing all the players on every team and editing rosters was my outlet for that. Many sleepless nights editing, but there was an awesome community of like-minded people that helped with finding official depth charts that deserve credit!

It all started because some guy asked on a message board if he could send me his memory card after I posted a reply that I have edited all the teams. I posted my address thinking this is crazy, and then people started mailing memory cards by the bucket. Great times!
