    Publication arms race in #neurosurgery is detracting effort from valuable pursuits. Let’s make apps more meaningful - not based on length/weight. Some ideas: 1) Applicants list only their top 5 pubs 2) List most impactful activities, rather than pubs. Share more ideas below!

    It’s time for #neurosurgery to be more deliberate about #mentorship. A great surgeon and educator does not make a great mentor. First step: Talk to, listen to, and understand your #mentee. Next: Guide them to pave their own unique path, no matter what they pursue.
