- I found out on the way home today our team chaplain is fighting for his life in the hospital. He is battling COVID. He is a great man of God who has truly been instrumental in building our program. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

- A huge “Thank you” to the @VBCA2018 and their selection committee on this great honor. This award is shared by my assistant coaches and the players that are an apart of the Hurricane Family!
- Just because we’re a JUCO program doesn’t give you the right to recruit our players whenever you want. Taking a kids “word” for things isn’t the same as making a quick courtesy call to see what the players’ situation is, especially when it happens w/someone I considered a friend.
- Packing for another great opportunity to see friends, make new ones, and grow as a coach! Excited to have the entire staff heading to DC with me! @ABCA1945
- It’s amazing how uneducated people are on the benefits of JUCO athletics. It offers the chance to develop further while playing the game you love. It also allows you to use that development to open your recruiting to more options! Make sure you get the facts before you knock it!
- Did something I’ve always wanted to do. Buy an F-150. I loved my Titan but I grew up riding around in my Dads F-150 and now Riley gets to ride with me in mine.
- There’s no way we get to today without the great people that surrounds our program from the players, coaches, and administrators. Very thankful and blessed for the opportunity to lead this program each day. - A lot of travel teams are finishing this weekend for the summer. I encourage all players whose families made sacrifices this summer to allow you to play that you are thankful. Do this by cutting the grass, doing the dishes etc. Do more than just say “Thank You” Show Appreciation!
- Is an Sophomore OF hitting .435 with 3HR and 8 total extra base hits and 15RBI solid? Oh and he’s got 10 stolen bases as well. All in 14 games so far. Some one needs to message me about this kid and get on him. He’s a dude!!!
- Please throw one of the hardest working assistants in baseball @TraywickPeyton good thoughts as he will unfortunately be spending Christmas alone since he got sick and wasn’t able to travel home. I hate it for him because he’s such a great person! Please keep him in your thoughts
- For all the players who say they throw a sub 2.0 pop to second just remember that the absolute missile Maldanado just threw to second to get Jackie Bradley was a 1.97. Just keep that in mind when telling a coach what your pop time is. #foodforthrought #cannon #hegone
