    For kids going by Shramik Trains, we have arranged Channpatana Toys.These are GI tagged and quite popular among children, made of wood nd natural colour,so safe nd good for children. It will also give sm additional business to local toy makers and artists. ⁦@PiyushGoyal⁩

    A taxi ride from city centre to Bengaluru airport cost Rs. 700 to 1000. Train fare will be about Rs. 20, with option of much cheaper monthly/quarterly seasonal tickets. KIA will probably be the 1st major airport in the country with direct train connectivity. @PiyushGoyal

    Hon'ble @CMofKarnataka, Shri @BSYBJP and Hon'ble Minister of State of Railways @SureshAngadi_ participated in Signing of MoU for partnership between #IndianRailways and BIAL for Airport Railway Station (Halt Station). Apart from travelers it will also help airport employees.

    NOT A DROP OF WATER SPILLED AT 100 KMPH: A good measure of track maintenance at 100 kmph as observed during window trailing in SBC-Y section today. Though somewhat old fashioned but effective. Good work done engineering team is visible. ⁦@PiyushGoyal⁩ ⁦@RailMinIndia⁩

    The screw on the covering plate, which is provided for aesthetic look, got loose and has been tightened. This plate is not load-bearing component. The load-bearing support bracket remains intact.

    NO, THIS IS NOT AN EXPRESS TRAIN. It is a container freight train running at 100kmph between BSM-VRDP section in SBC Division, with a trailing load of 1800 tons hauled by WAG9/41055 of KJM Shed. From JTJ to WFD the 120 km distance was covered in two hrs. ⁦@PiyushGoyal⁩

    After first train from Bengaluru city railway station to airport halt station, second train service from Yelahanka reached airport halt station. From today 10 trains will stop at airport halt station.
