The NHS is here for everyone. Trans and non-binary people deserve equity of access, experience and outcome in healthcare. We will continue to work hard to be a voice and advocate for all in the LGBT+ community @lizzietweeter #LGBTHealth #TransRightsAreHumanRights πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ 🧡 πŸ‘‡πŸ½

To avoid any doubt: I agree with the majority of respondents to the GRA consultation that the requirement for a gender dysphoria diagnosis, a medical report, evidence of living in true gender for 2 years and spousal veto should be removed from the process

Thanks for the work you do @Mermaids_Gender to support trans, non-binary and gender diverse children and young people and their families. I’ve seen many young people (and their parents) in clinic who have benefited greatly from the advice and support you give #LGBTHealth πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

It’s International Pronouns Day. We’re encouraging everyone to use pronouns and ask about pronouns as a simple way to show you’re inclusive of trans and non-binary people #PronounsDay #hellomynameis #LGBTHealth

The statements attributed to me that were reported today are misleading and misrepresent my advice. The GRC process should be de-medicalised, simplified and barrier free

Please find here further clarification regarding the Pink News article about my involvement in the GRC reform process.

Using pronouns helps trans and non-binary people feel seen, safe, welcome and included in healthcare. Put it on your badge, in your e-mail signature and use them when you introduce yourself #InternationalPronounsDay #LGBTHealth πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Trans and gender diverse children and young people deserve the same quality of care as every other child. Research shows that gender affirmative care supports mental health and reduces the risk of self-harm and suicide.

Don’t believe everything you read in the media! The NHS Rainbow Badge project has not ended. It will continue to be one of the most successful initiatives in addressing #LGBTHealth inequalities & supporting the NHS to be a more inclusive workplace for LGBT+ staff πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ 🧡 πŸ‘‡πŸ½

Thanks for all the kind words and support. I am very much looking forward to working with LGBT communities, ⁦@WomenEqualities⁩, @NHSE and all stakeholders to improve health and NHS experience and reduce inequalities for all LGBT individuals

Trans and non-binary people are frequently let down by the NHS with worse access, experience and outcomes. We can (and must) all do better and it starts with being an ally #TransDayOfVisibility #LGBTHealth πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ I like this πŸ‘‡ (Important for trans youth. Relevant for all)

LGB staff report worse experience and twice as much bullying, harassment and discrimination. And we don’t even ask our trans and non-binary colleagues! We will continue to work to ensure this is addressed, that all voices are heard and the NHS is inclusive of all staff πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ
