    I will never forget the piercing sound of the alarm and the announcement at 6:30 pm, “CODE BLUE Room 268!” It seemed like time stopped and accelerated simultaneously. 3.6.19 - my oldest child & only son took his last breath on a ventilator at 10:42 pm. #Forever19 💔

    What a blessing to wake up on my 46th birthday! On special days like this, I count my blessings. I am grateful for people who encourage & support me and for family & friends who bless me every day. I am living the dream and for that - I am thankful. #Dec17th

    My son would have turned 20 today. This picture was taken for his 19th birthday. The loss of my first child, my only son is painful. And to add the loss of my grandmother 9 months later is excruciating. Please pray for my family today. RIP Joe Jr 1999-2019 💔 #Forever19

    I am officially the President - elect of the Texas Association of School Administrators. TASA was founded in 1924 and I am the first Black female officer! I look forward to continuing the work with @tasanet staff and officers to support Texas #inspiringleaders!
