- BYU coach Kalani Sitake didn’t have a problem with the field storming or how it was handled. Total class.

- Darius Lassiter said the win was especially sweet for Caleb Etienne, the former OSU player who coach Mike Gundy said left because he lost his starting job. He said Etienne was emotional and grateful in locker room afterwards.
- Hard to see from this shot, but BYU has placed a bouquet of flowers at the 4 yard line in remembrance of Oregon tight end Spencer Webb, who died in a climbing accident in July.
- BYU coach Kalani Sitake said 37 players on the team are married and spouses will accompany players on the bowl trip as a reward for being away from them so much during the season.
