This site reminds me that cynicism is what passes for insight among dumdums.

question I'm going to ask every antivaxxer: if Coronavirus is so benign, why is exposure to the genetic material for a single of its proteins an existential threat? These can't both be true, can they?

Me: 99% of kids that get the virus are either asymptomatic or minimally ill. They pass it around, but rarely infect adults Twitter guy: then why vaccinate kids vs COVID-19? Me: uh, I'm talking about polio.

Our local Coronavirus outbreak should give us a glimpse of what annual polio/measles/pertussis outbreaks were like in a pre-vaccine era. Lets work as hard as we can to keep kids safe, healthy, and protected. #doctorsspeakup

Just had a restaurant refuse to seat my daughter and I on the deck because it's 21 and over (she's 22). They gave the last table on the deck to the young hipsters who came in after us.

After watching my own kid on a vent a couple weeks ago, my patience is even thinner for the COVID minimizer and anti-vaxxer crowd.

The mRNA vaccine was a miracle of our time. Unless you were there keeping score -and I was - you can't imagine how quickly it turned congregate care from killing fields to quiet. From the bottom of my heart, Bret can f*** off into the sun.
It can be hard to tell who is genuinely confused and who simply doesn't care about killing innocent people. But not with Albert Bourla--who had better information about mRNA "vaccine" hazards than almost anyone--yet is proud of what he did. He's clearly a monster.
    Readers added context
COVID-19 vaccines aren't killing large amounts of people. Vaccine adverse reactions are extremely rare. COVID-19 vaccines have a reassuring safety profile & reduce COVID-19 hospitalization & death. England for example has 63 vaccine deaths. Australia has 14 vaccine deaths nejm.org/doi/full/10.10… ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulati… tga.gov.au/news/covid-19-…

Kids: don't listen to this knob. The $300 guitar got just as many notes in it as the $2K one, and you'll be less fussy about finding them. Gear fetish is for lawyers. Cheap gear is for rocking. Stay alive with the cheap Fender hive, and f*** GC. They are going bust, anyhoo.
“If you walk through a Guitar Center, you see an awful lot of $300 guitars. If I’m a serious musician, it doesn’t feel like the right place for me anymore”: Guitar Center’s new CEO explains why the firm’s future must prioritize premium guitars trib.al/hVbyiMA

So over 60% of the country reports being worried that COVID vaccines cause infertility. This has to be one of the most successful misinformation campaigns of all time. Thanks, antivaxxers.

For all the talk of inclusiveness over the past decade, I rarely hear a word about discrimination against developmental disability or wheelchair access. I do DEI training multiple times every year, and my family is invisible. Grr.

Rather than put this restaurant on blast - the problem is a bouncer, not the owner - I'd love it if a Seattle restaurant or three commented here and asked for our business. Bonus points for south of the ship canal. We'll be there soon.

My conclusion: You are using the VAERS data in a way that is both in bad faith and is contrary to the user agreement that you click through to log in. But you wouldn't know the latter, b/c you are just passing this on, and have no idea if it is true or not.

I'm actually a doctor, and would say this is near 100% backwards. Raise your hand if you agree with me.
I know a lot of people who regret getting the vaccine. Don’t know anyone who regrets not getting it.
