    It’s important to tell what happened on the ground last night as I see that there are already several versions of ‘The Truth’ flying around. I was on the ground from 6.45pm (2.15 hrs before kick off) when problems began. So here’s a 🧵explaining my experiences….

    If Roman Abramovich now wants his £1.6bn loan paid back as @TimesSport is reporting, then Chelsea have a huge existential problem UK Govt have always insisted this can’t/won’t happen Clock is ticking on May 31st deadline but it’s more serious than a complex delay….

    I’m a big supporter of international football, but the bold move now would be to cancel March international break, let leagues finish up early, and have an extended summer of international football Moving players around the globe right now is just madness

    When he reached the Barca fans, Alex-Arnold tentatively applauded., maybe fearful of reaction. To a man and woman they stood and applauded his and #LFC extraordinary display. Sometimes football fans give you immense hope. There was huge dignity in that away end.
