    I’m at a loss. No words. I’ve been part of two big families with Grant Imahara over the last 22 years. Grant was a truly brilliant engineer, artist and performer, but also just such a generous, easygoing, and gentle PERSON. Working with Grant was so much fun. I’ll miss my friend.

    20 years ago today a 35-year-old version of myself debuted on a @Discovery TV series, fundamentally changing my life from the roots up in the best way. Happy anniversary to everyone involved with @MythBusters and its premiere! We made something to be proud of! #MythBusters

    Grant and I bonded early at ILM and called each other “Doctor” the entire 22 years we knew each other. This photo is from the last job I did at ILM, Terminator 3. A month after it was taken, I started filming MythBusters. Grant would join us two years later.

    Just a reminder from this friendly neighborhood science communicator that wearing masks is how we protect each other and prevent further death from COVID-19. They’re uncomfortable, that’s true. Then again so is dying. It’s literally the LEAST you can do. So do it!

    Just piping in here to let you know that if you think that wearing a ppe mask=weakness, i have some colorful things to say about your intelligence. I’m astounded that wearing a mask is AT ALL CONTROVERSIAL, and yet here we are. WEAR A MASK!!

    I’m so so sad, Jessi Combs has been killed in a crash. She was a brilliant & too-notch builder, engineer, driver, fabricator, and science communicator, & strove everyday to encourage others by her prodigious example. She was also a colleague, and we are lesser for her absence.

    Hey just a reminder that if you’re an anti vaxer, your “belief” is not only wrong (i.e. unsupported by ANY scientific analysis), it has a body count. The only thing vaccines cause is ADULTS. Please don’t forward to me your “evidence” (anecdotes). I’ve actually looked at it
