    Hadn’t had time today to lay out my thoughts on this, but here goes: I found the season as painful as everyone else, and no greater sadness post-Jota came than in realising that Slot probably ‘had to go’. But if you’re overly celebrating this, you don’t understand the club.

    Always a bit of an anticlimax when the PFA winner can't speak English very well and so struggles with the interview after receiving his award. For that reason I'm delighted Mo Salah won rather than Harry Kane.

    Since Kane claimed Eriksen's goal against Stoke: Spurs 1-3 Man City Brighton 1-1 Spurs Spurs 1-2 Man United Bizarre that. Turns out stealing goals off your team mates tends not to have a great effect on team morale.
