I apologize to all Iowans who, like me, remember when we elected Tom Vilsack Governor, third state to legalize same-sex marriage, voted for Obama TWICE and lead the nation in public education. This is not the Iowa we live in today and it saddens me beyond words.

A heart full of hate, 4 what reason only she knows. Turning down money 2 feed hungry undernourished kids is beyond disgraceful..then saying it’s because of obese kids goes yet another rung lower. The sooner we realize what a snake-in-the-grass she is, the better off we will be.

I have lived in Iowa my entire life. I used to brag we were the best kept secret in America. NO MORE..FULL MAGA NOW..We do have MN to our north and IL to our east who respect progressive values..THANK YOU from a discouraged Iowan. And I’m too damn old to move, so save the hate!

In my 75 years, I’ve never been more depressed by the direction my state of Iowa is headed. Once so proud of my state but no more. I would never have chosen to raise my family in Iowa, as it is today, at 25. I’m too damn old to move now, but every day I become more disillusioned.

If you’re still on the fence about ⁦@KimReynoldsIA⁩, this article is a must read. She has done more to destroy the sane Iowa in which I have spent my entire 75 years than any other single individual..especially public ed., but not limited only to it!
Kim Reynolds picked this Legislature, and it steamrolled an extreme path for Iowa

Normally I don’t pay much attention to Judge retention, but one Iowa SC Justice is up for retention..named David May. He voted to ALLOW the 6-week abortion ban law to go into effect, against the wishes of the majority of Iowans..and it passed on a 4-3 vote. I will be voting NO!

It would appear some eyes are being opened as @KimReynoldsIA approval rating has sunk to its lowest level ever and is now below water. Maybe vouchers, gutting AEAs, banning books, six weeks abortion ban as well as numerous other bad decisions weren’t such great ideas Kim! 🤦‍♂️

I swear if I was growing up in Iowa now instead of being retired, I’d get the hell outta here. We have one, ONE, statewide elected Democrat, Auditor @RobSandIA, & the fkn’ Repubs wanna make him irrelevant..they just won’t quit with their hateful, evil bullshit & I’m sick of it!

YOUR best Governor is ruining MY state..and I’ve been around a hell of a lot longer than either one of you. Iowa used to be the best kept secret in the USA with the best public education system in the country. Sadly, no more! How do I know? I was part of it!

Thankful 4 my 75 years living in a democratic republic. I wore the uniform 2 help protect freedom. Never would I have believed 1 man & 6 justices could destroy 250+ years of it. 2 Trump, Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh & Barrett I say FU. What a disgrace u r 2 the USA!
