- I started doing EUS in 1998. Started training students in 2008. Just audited my efforts. We hv imparted training to 84 foreign GIs in this period. Started a School of EUS in 2019 which has a waiting list of about 18 months. Giving back what I hv learnt in last 25 yrs🙏 #GITwitter
- 52F. Breast cancer 3 yrs back treated with sx and chemo. Presents with diarrhea. CT shows bowel thickening ? IBD. Biopsy showed metastasis from breast Ca. Pretty rare for breast ca to metastasize to colon. How often do you see this?

- Large WON.. upper abdominal swelling seen on clinical exam.. Hot axios placed.. 1.5 litres fluid came out.. swelling disappears immediately after procedure.. This is what is called visible results😊 #GITwitter

- 66F. Multiple comorbidities. 3 cm wide based polypoidal lesion in rectum. ESD done. The base was clear. HP showed well diff. Adenoca breaching muscularis mucosa. The resection margin is focally involved. What next? Observe? Radiation? Surgery?
- A first for me in 2 decades of EUS. 26/M. Postprandial pain. CT shows exophytic lesion from neck pancreas. EUS shows a solid cystic lesion. Fluid CEA 110. Bx from solid part of lesion: Small blue cell tumor. Less than 10 cases of blue cell tumor of pancreas are reported
- 36/M. Asymptomatic.routine evaluation for a job picked up lesion in head pancreas. Outside percut biopsy attempted.. negative. EUS shows this 6.5 cm lesion with multiple cystic areas. No vascular involvement. CBD, PD normal. Differentials?
- Crohns diagnosed by terminal ileal biopsy 1 yr back. Asymptomatic till now on pentasa. Now severe abd pain. CT shows distal ileal stricture. Enteroscopy picked 3 strictures. What next?
- Mirizzi’s.. EUS shows a 1 cm CBD stone. On careful exam, the stone appears to be in cystic duct which is massively dilated. ERCP confirms the findings. GB stent drains pus.. CBD stent dains normal bile
