    Thanks to all for kind comments! This has been such an incredible ride. Over 15 years we have grown x3 in faculty, x4 in grant $, and trained extraordinary nextgen leaders, and raised the impact of health promotion and prevention across the life course.

    Unfortunately this piece in @JAMAInternalMed is misinformed, cites out of date and incorrect info, and completely misleads patients about the utility of CAC. It can be our most helpful prevention decision tool when used appropriately. Get the facts right!

    Had the opportunity today to testify before the House Health Subcommittee on bipartisan bills that will increase access to cardiac rehab, and increase research on MVP and raise awareness of VHD and risks of sudden death. ⁦@AmHeartAdvocacy⁩ ⁦@American_Heart⁩

    Many millions have taken statins > 40 yrs and costing $$ trillions. Yet, there still is no randomized trial showing that healthy people live longer or feel better with statins, and many suffer from taking them. Time for an RCT, we cannot afford NOT to have high quality evidence.
