Thank Christ I am in the lovely blue skies of Ulster where this apparently will have zero impact. I love that storms respect the constitutional integrity of NI, it's what Carson would've wanted.

What an advertisement for the power of voting. Class @LisaMMcGee. The biggest expression of democratic will in our history. 22nd May 1998. 81.1% turnout.
Every girl deserves a Granda like Joe to guide them through life. What a guy 🥺 @SaoirseJackson #DerryGirls

People mocking Jimmy Nesbitt don't get it. People like him, their background, their complex identity, their desire to want associations across the islands and build something better. They decide when a referendum happens and who wins. Who understands that best; wins.

NI literally had one party rule for 50 years.

The past two days really is a demonstration about why the South has just raced ahead of NI in the past few decades. Between whether we should welcome the most powerful leader in the world to whether Casement should be part of a bid. Depress the life out of ya!

If community consent is your red line on Brexit, you have to apply it to the entire project, not just the bits you want changed. No cross community consent for Brexit No cross community consent for Protocol No cross community consent for actions to remove it.

"I have lost my daughter, and we shall miss her. But I bear no ill will. I bear no grudge. Dirty sort of talk is not going to bring her back to life. I shall pray for those people [the IRA bombers] tonight and every night. May God forgive them.” Gordon Wilson

Only NI could have a heatwave like this. Warm, grey clouds and rain. It's like the Harp of heatwaves.

When you turn up for the Intro to NI politics final exam but missed all the lectures...
Tory MP Matt Vickers says the Northern Irish electorate 'put Sinn Féin in power' because of widespread opposition to the protocol – despite Sinn Féin supporting the NI Protocol. @IainDale | @Matt_VickersMP | #CrossQuestion

Some seat fun now; With the gains SF now have I cannot see them below 124 seats. Even if DUP hold all remaining of their seats, they will be behind SF. @sinnfeinireland will be the first nationalist party to be the largest of local govt.
