    Among the weirdest things I've read about the Zucker scandal is that Gollust and her husband moved into the apartment above Zucker and his wife. Same building, one floor apart. On purpose, while everyone was still married.

    Last year my 11-year-old drew a duck for the @USFWS junior duck stamp contest that won a first prize in the 4th-6th grade category. Her entry for 2021 went out the door over the weekend. Yes, she did this by hand on paper. And yes, she's 12.

    Can anyone honestly doubt journalism has lost its way? This new @HarrisPoll poll (via @axios) shows airlines as the only industry that's lost more public approval than the media since the start of the COVID epidemic.

    *Nobody* has gone on the record, not even now. The level of risk associated with dropping a dime on a president in this town has never been lower, and yet no one talked about this *during* the trip? I call BS on the whole thing, especially since Bolton's memoir had none of it.

    Seriously, @JeffreyGoldberg piece is important and terrific reporting. Where the hell were these sources when it happened? Did I miss the part where any of those who heard the President attack war heroes quit in protest, or went on the record to tell us about this now?

    Do these people know absolutely nothing about Tchaikovsky? He was descended from Cossacks and spent most of his summers in Ukraine. He lived in Ukraine full-time for 4 years when he was in his late 30s. His symphonies and operas are chock full of Ukrainian folk themes.

    Please pick a day on your calendar when you can find a random person In a U.S. military uniform, take some money out of your pocket, and thank them for their service. I've done this every year on my birthday for a long time, and it's probably the most selfish thing I do.
