- There will be a new DJ Shadow album in 2023. Here’s the update:
- 25 years ago, I released "Preemptive Strike." The title was in reference to what I felt was a general lack of care for my music on the US label side, and my aim was to compile the earlier Mo' Wax output in a manner of my choosing rather than it happening surreptitiously.
- Happy ‘Endtroducing’ Day! DJ Shadow’s landmark debut album was released in the UK 26 years ago today. 🎧: found.ee/Endtroducing
- 22 years ago, my album 'The Private Press' was released. I'm grateful for how it has resonated, and can still vividly recall the emotions that went into each song. Photos taken by Peter Pakvis/Getty in 2002.
- On this date in 1996, DJ Shadow's 'Endtroducing.....' LP was released in the UK. What's your favorite song from the album?
- Finally found: this is the actual copy of Nirvana's "Dedicated To Markos III" album that I sampled on my song "Stem/Long Stem." I've remained friendly with founding member of the band Patrick Campbell-Lyons, most recently meeting up with him in Athens in 2022. (1/2)
