Thanks for all the messages the club have received following Davy’s sudden death yesterday. It is apparent that he was a well respected and liked man within amateur and local football. Your support is greatly appreciated by Davy’s family and all at the club.

People would say that no one person is bigger than a football club. Our exception is John Scott. His dad Jimmy founded the club in 1946 and John has been involved here in some capacity all his adult life. Great to see John and many other old friends yesterday. Mon the Dirrans

Brian ‘Berzy’ Wallace has decided that last season was his last at the club. Berzy was an old fashioned defender who could talk anyone off their game - he even managed to do it to himself a few times. A great club servant Berzy played in 100 games scoring 7. All the best Berzy
