That 98-yarder is the shortest TD ever in a college football playoff first round game.

Jack Gohlke spent 5 years at Division II Hillsdale College. He's now a 24-yr-old grad transfer at Oakland University. He has the hairline of a man twice his age. And he's currently torching the University of Kentucky on national TV. This is the greatest sporting event on Earth.

So let me get this straight: Georgia loses to ND. Texas needs an iffy call to edge ASU. Tennessee gets blasted at Ohio St. Alabama loses to 7-5 Michigan. South Carolina loses to Illinois. And we’re supposed to believe the SEC is college football’s best conference?

This is the political discourse we need in America.

3 years ago, Bo Pelini held a players meeting at a Lincoln high school & scorched the place that employed him. Mike Riley just held a press conference 5 hours after he got fired and said, "I'm just sorry I didn't do better." As Tom Osborne once said, there's "more than winning."

Ray Lewis just told Johnny Manziel, 22, to grow up and stop acting like you're in college. At 25, Ray Lewis was indicted for murder.

Ready for a wild stat? Bo Pelini's record at Nebraska (2008-14): 66-27 Paul Chryst's record at Wisconsin (2015-22): 67-26

You're not supposed to get worse during the season. Nebraska is indisputably and inexplicably worse than two months ago. Much, much worse.

No joke: Fred Hoiberg has more road wins in the last 50 hours than he had in his first 35 months at Nebraska.

Haven’t heard Creighton fans this quiet since the 4th quarter against Georgia Southern. Absolute stunner.

Everything about this game feels big…except the broadcast team.

Let's be clear: The state of Nebraska (fan base, university, local media, etc.) has been veeeeery forgiving of Scott Frost's failures. 90% of Power Five programs would've mocked him. Nebraska basically just tried to forget and move on. And yet he acts like HE is the victim? Damn.

Give this man a Pulitzer….after you find out how he got a sideline credential. (The extensive profanity is warranted, but still NSFW) x.com/HawksChronicle…

Husker fans, I'm going to regret saying this, but calm the hell down. This ain't 2021. Illinois was better. You still got a Dude at quarterback. That's the hardest thing. Hug your dog and go beat Purdue.
