- And...treatment is underway! I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from this great community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! If wishes, thoughts and prayers are required for healing, then this cancer is doomed.
- My diagnosis of Ovarian cancer was devestating but great strides are being made to conquer this disease. Today I feel strong & on the road to recovery. I am grateful for my community of support & for the healthcare workers that have given me hope& courage. bit.ly/2LdHDWs
- Peaceful protests are expected in a democracy but symbols of hate and intolerance such as swastikas and Confederate flags have no place here.
- Ringing the victory bell after finishing my LAST CHEMO TREATMENT! Tks to the amazing staff & volunteers @ the Ottawa Cancer Centre & Shirley Greenberg Women’s Health Centre, you are the true heroes. Looking forward to the next few months of recovery before returning to City Hall!
- Paid #StuStrong2 a visit today. Two different cancer journeys but one shared steely determination. Spirits are high!
- I am proud to endorse @cmckenney for Mayor. I strongly believe they are the best person to move this city forward in a positive direction. On Oct. 24th, I will be casting my ballot for them. #ottcity

- Breaking news, the Provincial government will be undertaking a full inquiry into LRT. We will finally get to the bottom of this debacle and get the answers the public have demanded and deserve. We need to restore trust. #ottnews
