Just got back from Cabo on a family trip with my partners, his two brothers & their spouses. It was the best experience I could have ever imagined. Being surrounded by unconditional love, and just non stop laughter and fellowship has been the highlight of my year thus far!

She said she didn’t want that around my nephew. This has been one of the only things I’ve been looking forward to all year. To see my niece and nephew faces. I’m so heartbroken and devastated. Mom said, “they still love you.” That’s not love. Love isn’t conditional.

Today makes 8 years since I was diagnosed with HIV. That first year was extremely tough. But my diagnosis was just part of my story, not the end of it! I’m no longer just “living with HIV,” I’m THRIVING with it! Cheers to holding on and not letting anything end your story!

This morning I found out my sister in law has decided to cancel on our family Christmas trip to Disney world. I paid for her and my brothers flights, my niece and nephew flights, and our 6 bed room Airbnb. (All non-refundable). Her reason: D being gay and bringing his partner.

Update: My brother & his wife responded and noted that in their opinion, because I was bringing my partner it was best that they uninvite themselves for the sake of their beliefs and kids having to be in the same house. I did let my and nephew know why this was canceled.
