- Responding to the #defcon32 badge controversy: DEF CON thrives on community collaboration and has operated for over 30 years successfully working with hundreds of vendors including the dozens that have helped with our badges over the years. For this year’s Raspberry Pi badges,
- #defcon28 has entered Safe Mode. The #DEFCONiscanceled meme has crossed over into real life, courtesy of #COVID19. In early March we had hopes that things would be stable by August. That is no longer realistic.
- Dan Kaminsky’s @dakami passion, creativity, desire to learn and teach really help influence both #defcon and @BlackHatEvents in the early years. He became an icon in all the positive ways and we looke up to him. RIP Hacker.
- It’s not our DNS this time.
- This was fun, right? We should do it again next year. It’s been a crazy few years, but it’s rewarding beyond measure to see how our community has stuck together, looked out for each other and finally come home for a big anniversary. Thanks for another amazing DEF CON. ☠️ ❤️ U.
