- DCSD is answering the call for help. We are deploying our school buses to rescue stranded drivers on I-25, Highway 86, Highway 83, & Highway 105. CDOT snow plows cleared the way for our buses. We have already rescued & transported more than 100 people and will continue to do so.
- In collaboration with other Denver metro area school districts, all Douglas County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, April 17 due to the ongoing safety concern. All facilities and programs are closed for the day. There will be no afternoon activities or athletic competitions.
