Live coding is such a bad idea. Nobody, and I mean nobody, thinks straight when someone else is watching them work. I type 100wpm and if you walk up behind me, it's like all my fingers switched places with each other.
I loved that phone. I don't want a thinner phone, I want a smaller phone (which is why I'm sticking with my 13 Mini).
That said, wherever I go, I see nothing but giant phones so, clearly I'm in the minority. Apple is simply serving the needs and wants of their customers.
It could also be learned behavior from years of working in an office where I was constantly interrupted and found I could get more work done in the afternoon and evening after everybody else went home.
Embrace being interrupted. You won't regret it when the day comes that those kids are moving out (which is going to happen faster than you can imagine).
As Elon says, “Hire for attitude, not skill. Skill can be taught but attitude requires a brain transplant.” So, yeah, depending on their attitude. If they’re eager to learn, teaching there difference won’t take long.
This. I used to work from 9am until 7 or 8pm because I was only able to get any work done after 5pm when everybody left the office. From 9-5 it was constant interruptions and meetings.
MacRumors should be ashamed of their blatant and misleading clickbait. It says in the first paragraph that Apple "could" stop making the "current version". Of course they will at some point! This isn't news!
