There will come a time, I believe, and it should be soon, when the world will - preferably under the authority of the United Nations - need to act militarily to protect Palestinians, Lebanese, and perhaps by then, Syrians and Egyptians - from the devastating war crimes of Israel.

The thing I have noticed about Australia is that most people vote according to what will financially benefit themselves most. How that might affect other people is almost never even a vague concern. Are we the most selfish and self-absorbed nation in the world?

I really must apologise for my home State of Queensland. It is a beautiful place - full of sunshine and rainforests and golden beaches - and people who have never had a cogent thought in their entire lives. Who admire Pauline Hanson, because "she speaks truth, mate!" Dumbarses.
