I do not share much of my personal life on social media but today is gonna be different. If you are the praying type please lift up my wife Lindsey. She has brain cancer and surgery is Wednesday at Duke. So thankful to serve a loving God that meets us in our struggles!
My dad taught me a lifelong lesson on National Signing Day my senior year of HS. He made me call all the schools that recruited me, tell them thank you and inform them of my decision. I hated every second of it but man do I get it now.
Kids aren’t the same but parents are officially out of control in youth sports. Trainers, private coaches, homework, year round grind. You will snatch the love of the game away before you create a hall of famer. Play all the sports.

My reality 15 years ago today. Broken neck but not broken spirit. We all have scars, physical ones you can see and emotional ones you can’t and we all have a God that loves you just the way you are. Attack everyday knowing that you matter and you are loved.
