Divock Origi has just told one interviewer that Jurgen Klopp simply told him to "go out and be Divock" before sending him on at Molineux. Job done, I'd say.

Funny that, for all the stick Alexander Isak has taken, Marc Guehi’s reward for going about getting his move to Liverpool in a ‘classy’ way was to not get the move at all.

All quiet now at Anfield, and the Jurgen Klopp era has officially come to an end. What a ride that was.

Mohamed Salah has just been desperately trying to stop Liverpool making a sixth substitution there so they don't get docked points. Looked like the referee had to explain to him they get an extra one due to the earlier head injury.

If anyone had dared suggest when Jurgen Klopp was appointed in October 2015 that Liverpool would collect every single trophy available to them by May 2022, I think most would’ve laughed. Oh, and there’s a Champions League final to come!

This was supposed to be a real test of Liverpool's title credentials up against a £1bn team that has shown improvement of late. In the end, it was an utter demolition led by a 20-year-old academy graduate that keeps the Reds top. Some win.

Chris Wilder has just walked through the mixed zone at Anfield and declared to a member of Liverpool staff: "I hope you go on and win it, I really do."

Liverpool topped the Premier League fair play table for five consecutive seasons under Jurgen Klopp. That they have received four red cards already this season says everything about how unfortunate they've been in terms of decisions.

I don't think you will get a better example of the legacy Jurgen Klopp will leave than today. The character and quality he has instilled in the first team runs all the way through to the youth setup, too. A victory for and earned by the entire club.

It's like Jurgen Klopp is finding new and more ridiculous ways to win football games just so Liverpool fans miss him even more when he goes. Patched up doesn't do that team justice, and yet two 18-year-olds win it on their first and third appearances respectively. It's madness.

A deal between Liverpool and Porto for Luis Diaz is fully agreed at £37.5m plus £12.5m in add-ons. Getting a medical done now the main obstacle to the transfer being completed - will take place in Argentina this weekend, as reported elsewhere.

Klopp: “I love you all, I love everything about the club, but it’s time for me to go.”

Some good news: I’m told the fan who took ill at Anfield last night suffered a mild angina attack and is now thankfully absolutely fine.

Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez here at Anfield tonight and taking pictures with supporters.
