Leadership role reality:
- Saying the same things over again consistently at scale
- Asking two teams if they’ve talked to each other
- Finding where that Google doc is
My holiday tradition is going on GoFundMe to find campaigns of people raising money for their cat’s vet bills. I find the ones most off track and donate the entire amount.
I had a manager who had our design team update our personal portfolios every quarter. It startled a lot of people who wondered why she would have us do that. The more you let go, the more you enable retention.
