    Because vaccines that protect the public must be mandated, especially for children who opt into the public school system, which has a duty to protect all its students. It should be up to the scientists, not the parents. Like smoking indoors, you don’t get to choose.

    Scott Smith, a true pioneer of the new space economy, passed away this weekend. I learned more about space tech from Scott than from anyone. I miss him deeply, as do all his friends at Bessemer, Skybox, Rocket Lab and Iris.

    Caution: never buy premium Tesla service plans. I love my Teslas but I was scammed into paying many thousands on the top end "Ranger" service including house calls & loaners. *Every* time I've tried to use it, I was told "Not now, we are too busy." (Just happened again today.)
