- 2020, you really suck.
- I’m at a stoplight in downtown Minneapolis. I’m looking at this sign and it hits me. The orange arrow isn’t a smile like I always thought it was. It’s to suggest they have everything from “A“ to “Z“. Am I only one who’s missed this all this time?
- It seems hypocritical for Hollywood to throw a big party for itself including $100,000 gift bags for already-rich celebrities, while also talking about the unequal distribution of wealth, the hungry and the homeless.

- To spread a little joy during this time, our neighborhood encouraged anyone who plays an instrument to play on their driveway at 5 o’clock this afternoon. Carson and I had a great time and it was fun to bring some smiles and laughter to our street. Mostly laughter but still...
- I was on a plane from Vegas when a passenger announced the verdict after seeing it on his phone. Everyone was applauding and happy and smiles were everywhere. A black guy saw me applauding too and gave me a somewhat surprised but pretty freaking happy smile.
