I have a colleague who never shows up to meetings. But we all just pretend like it’s normal 😂😭! We no longer add him to the invite list most times and if we do and he doesn’t show up we don’t bother chasing. The gag is he is so knowledgeable and can’t be dispensed off easily

Parents had me at 32/34. Which for the 90’s was rather old. However I am thankful for it because it meant i had very present parents and lacked for nothing. They were together 8 years before having kids and they got to live the life they wanted, traveled and saw things. I hope to

I switched my gas and electricity tariff to tack daily wholesale prices and shifted a lot of electricity load into the early morning and my bill has gone from £60 weekly (electricity ) to £25. Reddit for the win again. This is peak adulting and I love it 💁🏾‍♀️

I switched careers at 24, now I work with individuals who have made career changes in their 30's My mother became a psychiatrist at 42 after having worked as a teacher since her 20’s. It is never too late to make a career change. Three years is sufficient time to begin afresh.

I Interviewed someone today who only wanted £35k the role pays £65k+. I really need everyone in the UK to collectively want better for themselves. I had to take a moment to reread their salary expectations over and over again. Let’s collectively want better please.

One of my directors used to do this. He would tell you he is not attending and he has to pick his daughter up from school at 4pm. So if you scheduled a meeting he won’t turn up.

Someone just won £50,000 for holding a £125 premium bond for less than 2 year’s. Let me start paying attention to my premium bonds. Most I have won was £5000 and held around £150 for 2 years at the time.

Sorry, but I really don’t feel bad about this 😅. The dividends allowance was cut from £5,000 to £500 and no one said a word, now I can only take £500 tax-free from my own business in a year? That’s less than a day rate. Looks like the whole “tax the rich” mantra has finally
