    may be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face!! It’s been a rough few days but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this!! Not sure when she will get to go home but today looks a lot better than yesterday or the day before!!

    I knew this was bound to hit close to home. Today it did. I just heard the news of Joe Diffie’s passing. I am sick in my spirit because I can’t bear the thought of not hearing that voice for a while. He was a dear friend& understood me and my convictions. Full post on Facebook.

    This was one of the last time i played with @Darylesing! I am simply silenced by the news of Daryle’s passing. He was my friend and brother in Christ. I loved him for exactly who he was. He was undoubtedly the best friend a real country song could ever have!

    Please be in prayer for my sweet girl. She had chickens on the farm that were her pets. She loved them and carried them around. Something got all of them last night and she is heartbroken. I will be on a mission now to find out what.

    What am I thankful for today? Savannah had a really good check up Wednesday at Vandy. Everything is coming along nicely. We are so blessed that she is alive and well. Still got some healing to do but we are so thankful at this time of year that we will all be celebrating

    Look who was out on the town today! Savannah said she couldn’t stay in the house another second. So, we have someone tagging along for @theworleygirl’s and mine’s 17th wedding anniversary!! I can’t tell how thankful Kimberly and I are to have this little red head with us

    Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done 2 Losing Momma has been a real lesson in life. I knew she wouldn’t live forever but somehow, I didn’t think it would hit me like it has. I’m okay but I’m better when I just think about the incredible memories we made together. Full post on Facebook.

    Today we are having our Thanksgiving celebration. As I reflect on the year that has come and gone I am certainly thankful. It has been a challenging year to say the least but not as challenging as some have endured. In January our barn burned to the ground and we lost everything

    In 2003, 2 years after the 9/11 attacks, I came home from a trip to entertain our troops in the war zone and my heart was broken for so many reasons. It was broken to witness what our millitary men and women were going through to protect our nation. It still was deeply broken for
