- Replying to @darkmoonbIadeOf course the majority of children(boys and girls) are at least extremely susceptible to misogynistic ideologies. One good "male rolemodel" saying "respect women" isn't going to change that and what these kids actually need to hear would actually be really hard for them to hear.
- Replying to @darkmoonbIadeCause having your deepest views desires and beliefs challenged is really hard to deal with, which is what grappling with your own misogyny actually requires. What people want is to just have their views parroted back to them and to be told those views make them special and cool.

And while there are big differences the root causes are the same as what is pushing boys into hate groups.

- I think you can learn from people without wanting to emulate them or anything. Like most people you learn from probably aren't role models.
- You know part of this that people don't consider is one of the major reasons kids are so attached to their phone is that more and more that is their only source of independence. More and more places for kids to exist as kids are destroyed leaving online spaces as the only option.
