I spent last night thinking of medical work arounds for this horrific law, until it is rectified in the courts. So, this is what I would tell my daughter or her friends if they were in Texas. [I know this isn't enough, but as a mom, and doctor, I am sharing my thoughts].

Amy Coney Barrett, whose own family should be quarantining right now, is still meeting with Senators as they violate their own quarantine guidelines. For a judge, that’s pretty bad judgment.

We did 65,000 tests in NY yesterday. 0.89% were positive More testing does NOT equal more cases. It just means we get to move forward.

13 hour vaccination shift over. There is no better feeling than ZERO unused doses at the end of the day. Now 🍷 and 😴

I am a 40 year old doctor who just got prohibited from purchasing sudafed for my daughter who is crying because I didn’t have ID on me. We regulate sudafed stronger than we regulate guns. #docs4gunsense 🤦🏻‍♀️

This started with a 20 yo healthy white male testing (-) to see his family. Infected 3 "family" members land in the lungs of a 60+ yo Black woman who is now hospitalized on oxygen and steroids. This is living room spread. And it has to stop. /fin

Name me a state that has robust testing for healthcare workers AND antibody testing? Because if not, there is no state ready for "Phase 1." Seriously asking.

Almost every case of community spread I am seeing amongst otherwise "careful people" was transmitted over a maskless meal. If you are going to decrease your risk with ONE choice, please stop eating and drinking with people outside your household.

Clarification: This is a family I know socially, not professionally and they gave permission to share their story in an attempt to "tell everyone to be smarter than we were." And I am grateful they did.
