- is anyone else in this hell-ish cycle of staying on top of life things (cooking, cleaning etc) for a few weeks until one day it all falls apart for a few weeks because you get exhausted? is this everyone? is it a neurodivergent issue? idk how anyone sustains anything π
- plane crashes every day but donβt worry flying is still safe and everyone sick with the flu so donβt forget to wash your hands and no oneβs talking about any of it and I still have to go to work and I feel like Iβm truly going insane
- Literally when I rewatched Little Women a few years ago, I noticed they say Beth had a virus (scarlet fever) and it affected her heart. She kinda recovers & then deteriorates again. Like post-viral illness is not new so itβs BIZARRE that everyone acts like covid is no biggie! How quickly we forget. Open any of the classics, and the stories are littered with infectious disease - Little women, Les Miserables, and Uncle Tom's Cabin. Or all the famous people that have died of TB - George Orwell, Vivian Leigh, and Eleanor Roosevelt.
- everyone keeps getting infected with a virus that causes brain damage so yeah this is to be expected!everyone is driving NOTICEABLY worse lately. i've been driving for the last twenty+ years and never seen anything like it in my life.
- a thing that sucks about being covid aware is walking around knowing a lot of people in your life think youβre out of your mind
- I know it sucks to admit you were wrong when you stopped masking. It sucks to acknowledge that youβve harmed people by spreading disease. It sucks to accept that COVID is dangerous. But you can decide RIGHT NOW to wear a high-quality mask in public spaces again. I believe in you!
- it is TERRIFYING to me when people blame symptoms that are caused by COVID on everything but COVID π« Maybe itβs because yβall are infecting your children 2-3x a year with a virus that has longterm neurological impact??????
- anyone else feeling like a shell of a person as we enter the 4th year of a pandemic that almost everyone is pretending doesnβt exist & you feel gaslit every single day & have no clue if youβre doing the right thing & thereβs no space to talk about any of this or grieve? me either
- Have yβall heard the coughing out there? Nothing silent about the incoming surge πTODAY: A 'silent' COVID surge may hit the US over the holidays, experts warn. today.com/health/coronavβ¦
- the whole thing about βitβs normal for kids in school to be sick all the timeβ like I was a kid, I donβt remember being sick all the time???? I donβt remember my friends being sick all the time???
- a person wearing a mask came up to my friend and I wearing our masks and said βhello fellow smart peopleβ and I just think us maskers should all start doing that more
- Sometimes I want to give up on my COVID precautions, but then I realize what I REALLY want is for COVID to disappear. But taking my mask off and returning to βnormalβ wonβt accomplish that, as much as others like to pretend. So I accept the facts, feel my grief, and keep going π·
