For anyone who thinks that some are overreacting to Joe Rogan's joke about Jews and money, consider that Ilan Halimi and Mireille Knoll were murdered in 2006 & 2019 because their killers thought that all Jews have money. This isn't a joke - it is a clear & present danger.

OTD in history, Jesse Owens won the 1st of 4 gold medals in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Coincidentally, I re-watched the 2016 film Race last night while running (ok jogging) on the treadmill. Did the US IOC make the right decision in participating in the games in Nazi Germany? 👇

As the grandson of Holocaust survivors, I have spoken a lot about the wrongness of comparing anything to it. I still believe that - mostly That being said, other than scale, I see 1 major difference between the Nazis and members of Hamas The Nazis tried to hide their crimes

Today, I visited the @JewishAgency Aliyah center in Warsaw, a hotel filled with Jews who fled the war. Most grabbed whatever they could before leaving. At the hotel, we provide them with food, clothing, shelter- whatever they need. Here, they hear a primer on life in Israel.

I have reached a sad conclusion. As much as I would not like to give up on a single Jew, I have given up on them. For me, they are deserving of “cherem” (formal exclusion from the Jewish people)

The @JewishAgency has already sent financial aid to every bereaved family from Majdal Shams. We have also joined with @jfederations & Keren Hayesod in an emergency campaign to further help the Druze community. The Druze always stand with 🇮🇱. We are proud to stand with them.

I hope that some day they see what they have become and offer some repentance. I am not that religious a person, but I do pray that God forgives them for their actions. I, for one, do not believe that I ever will.

Yesterday I met Lilli and her family who fled their home & stayed at 14 different places as they drove through their war torn country until they crossed the border. Now they are safe since they’re making Aliyah… as soon as they find a cage big enough for their 100 pound dog!🐾
