    Google cancelling @dalitdiva 's talk is yet another proof of how caste based discrimination is not just an Indian reality. Stringent laws need to be introduced in workplaces to protect the rights of the Dalit diaspora. @Google @EqualityLabs

    Love has won over hate as Seattle has become the first in the nation to ban caste discrimination. We have braved rape threats, death threats, disinformation, and bigotry. Thank you to the 200 organizations who stood with us! Thank you to the 30 caste oppressed civil rights

    Dear @sundarpichai, @Melonie_Parker, and @Google I would like to iterate your entire conversation around caste reflects how much caste competency the company needs to build. A talk is not divisive, rather caste is already present and dividing your workforce.

    The sad reality of #casteism is that when dominant caste networks are faced with the reality that #Dalit people are succeeding in getting our issues into the global conversation and that the world is appalled by the horror of #casteapartheid, their go to action is violence.

    Many people do not realize that the cost of what it is to be an out #Dalitamerican that speaks out about #castediscrimination. The few of us that are spokespeople take the hits so that so many others can use that cover to speak out anonymously on this issue with safety.
