It is with great sadness that the club has to announce that our assistant manager Gary Holden passed away late on Christmas Day. Gary will be a huge loss and our thoughts go out to Peigi, Colin and Carol and the rest of Gary’s family at this very sad time.

- Everyone at Dalbeattie Star was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of former player and coach Jimmy Hannay. Put simply Jimmy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Our thoughts go out to Jimmy's wife and two children at this difficult time.
