    Seattle PD dragging mother out of her car while her 9 year old is in the backseat. Officer tells her she has “multiple counts of assaulting an officer. You assaulted me and you assaulted another officer” at a protest couple days ago. Cops are seeking revenge on protestors.

    BREAKING: Seattle Police Department will no longer be a part of the removal of Homeless Encampments in our city. They will no longer be in charge of destroying shelter and belongings of our unhoused communities. This is a huge victory and one we’ve fought for decades. #DefundSPD

    This does not prove the system works but it proves even the most obvious bare minimum won't happen without public pressure. We only saw this verdict because of the protestors who risked their lives on the street. Those still incarcerated. Those murdered for their advocacy.

    King County Court shutdown yesterday and canceled ALL bail hearings. Protestors are stuck in jail. This is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. WA State court rules that jailed individuals will be released within 1 business day of their warrantless arrest in absence of specific findings by a judge.

    Description of what was going on during the time of the arrest. One of the cops even rolls up his pant sleeve to show his “wound”. We have to continue to police the police or they will continue fabricating stories to terrorize protestors.
