IF IT DOES NOT SHOW YOUR NEW NAME AS `GUARDIAN` THEN BUNGIE DID NOT CHANGE IT. Do not select Continue, Exit game, and then wait 5 minutes before relaunching. This should put your name back to what it was before. I have confirmed this across multiple accounts.

and once again, Bungie goes dark on this, and the rest of the API dev community gets shafted. It's complete bullshit that if you started your app after a certain date, then the only way to get recognition is through pure luck.
