Wout Van Aert in the Tour de France is beyond anything I’ve ever seen in my life, in any sport. Year after year, he does things he shouldn’t be able to do, given his body shape. The man is a delight to watch, one of the best the sport has ever seen.

An injured Primož Roglič sacrificed his own slim chances of yellow jersey success on the Galibier to force Pogačar into using up vital energy. For me, that is the moment when the race was won. A selfless moment by an amazing leader. #TDF2022

8 years ago our world stopped. Our beautiful boy died aged just 5. We remember him everyday, but a little bit more on this one. As someone once told me, you never get over, you just get on. Life is very fragile, you got to try and love every moment.

This happened just round from my house. I’ve seen this young lad out training a few times. Such an amazing moment, hats off @PascalEenkhoorn

Today was yet another example of why Sepp Kuss is the best mountain domestique in cycling, and one of the best climbers in the world.

Journalist to Sagan - “What is Milan-Sanremo for you?” Sagan - “It’s a bike race.” Love Sagan.

Disappointing to hear people say that Roglič abandoned the race as he was disgruntled at being a domestique and riding for Vingegaard. We’re all entitled to our opinion, but to question his professionalism is out of order if you ask me.

Slow day, so a chance to remember Sean pronouncing Rui Oliveira. #TDF2024

Pogačar and Evenepoel questioning why Vingegaard didn’t ride and solidify the podium for all of them is interesting. I get it, especially when interviewed straight after the stage. Boys, he’s not here for the podium, he’s here for the win.

If you were outraged at today’s protest in the Vuelta, then God only knows what you think about the current situation in Gaza. Children dying every day and folk getting upset about a bike race.

Guess who brings the Langellotti group back into contention? Jan Christen.
