- Something I really like about the women in Wallace & Gromit is that none of them have that Lola Bunny trope of being overly sexualized compared to the males. Look at these people! They’re just as silly and stylized as the Big W himself!
- The greatest tragedy of the modern animation industry to me is that Jim Soper is consistently one of the most interesting, well-drafted, & downright fun cartoonists out there, yet he had to retire a few months ago because no one will pay him enough to feed his family.

- Happy 70th Birthday to Disney Animator Eric Goldberg! Eric’s been one of my biggest drawing heroes since around 2021. I wrote him a fan letter in 2023 and enclosed the caricature below, and he not only was kind enough to write back, but sent the Genie drawing below with it!
- Peanuts needs to get mean again. As genuinely good as the Apple specials were, they made everybody way too nice to each other. The message of Peanuts at its best is this constant tension of wishful optimism and cruel reality.

- The latter always bugs me because up until the last three minutes or so, Woody smiling in this scenario is completely inauthentic to who he is in the actual story. Shouldn’t a movie poster tell you something about the story?
