Seriously it bothered me so much how she rants about modern Magical Girls being made for the "male gaze", yet there's no mention of Pretty Cure? A 20 year old magical girl franchise? Sanrio's Jewelpet and Mewkledreamy? Doremi? The GirlsxHeroine project? Princession Orchestra?
oohhh nooo sweetie, that's not a way to respond to critique about a genre you're not an expert on.
Still harassing her and doing hateful comments is NEVER ok, but it kinda seems she's bluring the lines between them
"I'm gonna watch a raunchy ecchi anime"
*watches the anime"
"Whatttt? The show has fanservice and is made for the male gaze? Who could have told me that?"
"I'm going to keep making videos."
If you keep making anime recomendation and review shorts, that's ok. If you keep making ill-informed video essays and just chuck up to a "theory", then don't.
"I'm going to interact with the shows made for a male audience, instead of the incredibly succesful ones in Japan for a female audience. Let me ignore them since sometimes there's men involved"
She thinks there were barely any "otaku" magical anime made before Madoka Magica and Sailor Moon.
Shhhhhh
Don't hell about the Creamy
Mami and Wedding Peach ovas.
