- Surprised to hear that Donald Trump is apparently claiming that my late sister Diana wanted to “kiss his arse”, since the one time she mentioned him to me - when he was using her good name to sell some real estate inNew York - she clearly viewed him as worse than an anal fissure.
- 50 years ago tonight, I spent my first ever night away from my family. I was 8, & I’d been sent away to boarding school. It was part of a family tradition. 12 September 1972 has been with me ever since. I have 7 children. None of them have been forced to go to boarding school.
- Every now and then, even a total amateur like me is in the right place at the right time. Five years ago, I was walking the dogs by the water’s edge at @AlthorpHouse with my iPhone - and realised that the light, the cloud, and the moment were just incredibly special.
